I can’t download it on my new phone and I love this game...too bad

I cannot log in. I keep getting Error if I try to log in at all. And now my Italian Mind Snacks game has logged out and I cannot sign in. I still cannot sign into the Spanish app.

My kids and I have used this app for years, but when I did a factory reset of the iPad and tried to log back in, the company is like a ghost! We really really love this app, please somebody help us to get back in! 😩

In the past I wouldve given this app 5 stars as I used it A LOT while studying German. But as of now I can't download it because it is not compatible with newer iOS. If it updated, I'd surely download it again. It frustrating because I paid for some of the features within it, now I can't use it at all.

I completed all the lessons a few years ago and I enjoy playing it in review mode to stay fresh. I learned SO much from it and was able to have simple “conversations “ with my friends from Germany. They were SUPER impressed with how much I knew!! I also have the Spanish and French versions. I did just see that I cannot play because there is no new update available.. 😭😫. very sad as I am going to Spain in March and wanted to play.

Please, update to IOS11. I must say that this app is amazing for learning Other languages, it is challenging and really fun to play with.

I absolutely love this game, it has taught me the core German language. The things that I’ve learned on this app have been the most imbedded memorable phrases which No other app or course has ever been able to accomplish. I would give it 5 stars, but it won’t download onto my new phone :( which I am very sad about it. I would’ve loved to continue learning with it.

Devastated when I upgraded my phone that I could no longer use this app! I love it so much! It’s fun and teaches you and the variety of games is so great. Please update this!!!!!!!

This is such a well-done app. I wish the developers would update it so we could continue to benefit from- and enjoy using it!

PLEASE UPDATE FOR IOS 11!!!!! Originally I wasn't interested because this looked like a kids game. I'm in my 40's and that didn't appeal to me. But I was looking for an app that included genders for German nouns, and this one did so I tried it. Best learning app I've used. The games speed up my learning, approaches my memory from different angles, and is just fun to play. And my kids gather around and want to play to. So it works for both of us.

Please update so I can keep using it! I bought it and really liked it!

I loved to play this because it taught me German in a fun way. Because of this I know more so it makes it a little easier to understand some of my family members that speak only German. But just today when I tried to get on it said that I couldn’t because it needed an update. Well I tried to update it but it didn’t work all because it doesn’t work on my type apple system. Now it is taking up space and is no use to me.

This *was* truly the best app available for learning German. Most other apps don’t actually challenge you to learn the language with interactive games. Mindsnacks was not only teaching me to pronounce the words but was helping me read them, as well as form proper German sentences. Now I can’t use the app, period, because the developers haven’t created a version for iOS 11. Are you going to start offering refunds to your users?

This is my absolute favorite app for learning german, but I can no longer use it due to update requirements. Please please update so I can use it again. 😫

Guess this company took the money and ran because all they had to do was update to new OS to continue revenue... I bought this app and can no longer use it at all... pretty disappointing it was a great little app to practice spelling and matching words.... would love for just a quick fix so the app actually runs.

Great app, but unfortunately doesn’t work with iOS 11. I would give 5 stars if the app was still functional. Hopefully it’s updated soon!

How sad- obsolete and not being updated? Sad

This app works great for learning key terms and objects, but the developer hasn’t updated it for iOS 11. I’ve had the full version for over three years now and I’ve never been disappointed, it’s sad that I have to give it a bad review. PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM... otherwise it’s 5 stars!

This app used to be awesome however, they are no longer upgrading it for the new iOS. So nobody new should buy it. They are also deceptive because they don't mention that on their main website. It's in a post on their blog that was hard to find. It WAS the best language learning software that was found.

Games that are time dependent start out painful slow and then speed up to insanely fast way to quickly. There's only a short time span of optimal speed. And timeless/endless mode would drastically improved the functionality of these games and also enable my 5 year old to play more games then just belly. It also awards xp/ word mastery way too quickly. I downloaded it yesterday I think I've finished 5 lessons. The words I didn't already know are definitely not master after that short time frame it gave for lessons and I've spent just as much in review mode. This is slightly made up for by the fact you can rest individual lessons in settings instead of having to reset the whole game. I wish that 'the' was displayed with each noun but when it's not it is spoken after you match. So it's at least there's that. I'm kind of upset that it give the option for multiple users and then Requires each person to pay to unlock the app :/ the other people in my house can just play in review mode. I'd buy it again but it could use a few upgrades.

I loved using this app. It had really fun games that taught me a lot of German. I paid for the full version, which I almost never do, and now I can’t use it because the software needs to be updated.

I love the games in this app it helps me to remember the vocab, but it doesn’t work with iOS 11 😢

UPDATE: I can no longer use this app because it’s not updated for iOS 11. Really disappointed... Love this app. Was a bit disappointed that you only got to learn numbers before you had to pay, but the 5 bucks was so worth it and I'm only on level 3. Plus, when you think about it, 10¢ per level is pretty cheep for an app this easy to use and fun to play. 👍👍

#1 I love this app in addition to Duolingo! I finally found out how to practice all past lessons - otherwise I might rate at 3 stars. Both Swell & Balloon should include der/die/das with the nouns. All German language learning discussions make clear Masc, Fem & Neut make no sense, only memorization works. Please include them as this app works for memorization learning. Also, slowing down the points/xp gained in the lessons would be great. I'm not great at memorization, but I am through the lessons way too fast at current xp awarding rates.

I like playing games to help reinforce learning vocabulary. The games makes it easier for my child to want to learn too. My issue regarding some of the games I've unlocked is how fast the games speed up. So far the easiest game to play is Belly. The water in Swell drains so fast that my kid doesn't want to play it and I find Swell more frustrating than fun for the same reason. I recently started conversation words and the time I get to spell in bird doesn't seem to increase. Bloon is okay. I use it more to keep me from panicking when there are so many balloons it becomes overwhelming, but my kid doesn't enjoy that one. I've only ever played Slide a couple of times because the game ends too fast. Today a conversation game with a parrot popped up and I enjoyed it except for the fact that it was difficult to control the up and down motion of the parrot. It would be nice if the games had better user control and maybe a way to make difficulty easier or more challenging based on individual preference in settings.

I'm leaning German fast and having fun while doing it. I like the way it's being presented building more vocab gradually and not focusing on grammar in the beginning "which is usually the boring part" it's cleaver, building more vocab every day

As soon as I opened the app, It said it will slow down my iPhone and the app needs an update. Not working. Can't even login with Facebook. -.-

I still use this after a couple of years. It's still fun and helpful...but it hasn't been updated for a few years. It would be nice if they added more lessons.

I got this app a couple of years ago and liked it. But the latest version will not stay running. POS.

This is not a free app. The free function (first level, usually numbers, and first two or three games) is wonderful for what it is - free. A few years back I paid the 20 or so dollars for the full set of languages to be unlocked, and it's really been worth it. As you continue on it gradually gets more challenging, but I'm currently just using the numbers level to make sure I know up to 20 at the drop of a hat for my test in German. It's super fun, and those who say that games aren't helpful are probably not enjoying themselves. The rapid recall needed to preform well in most of these games is invaluable when you're attempting to do anything at speed
